Happy Thanksgiving Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce!! There is important information in this email so please read the entirety.  

Our November membership meeting will feature a Thanksgiving feast presented by the Sparta High School Culinary Club.  They along with their peers from the Sparta High School FFA Chapter will be recognized for their greatness this year. The FFA students designed and installed the landscaping around the sign!  

We will be discussing upcoming board elections happening this month.  Please be watchful for your membership ballot to show support for your choice of board members.  We have three candidates, and they will be allowed the opportunity to speak at the meeting this month.

Membership renewals for 2024 will be emailed to you on November 12.  You will get two emails this year.  One email will come from the chamber system and will include the link needed to pay by credit card through Paypal.  Of course, you are welcome to pay by cash or check in person at the meeting or by mailing a check to the Chamber PO Box.  The second email will come from our newly established QuickBooks and will provide a much sought after PDF copy of your invoice.  Please note that membership dues have increased by 10% this year as discussed at the October membership meeting.  If you would like to pay in advance for the full 2024 year of monthly membership meetings, please reach out to Cynthia Glenn at bluemonkey@bluemonkeytowing.com and she will add the fee to your invoice and resend.  As always, the dues you paid for 2023 complete your membership on 12/31/2023.  If you do not pay your 2024 renewal invoice by 12/31/2023, your membership will expire on that date and you WILL NOT receive future emails and meeting registrations etc... from 01/01/2024 and beyond!

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW POLICY:  The fee to attend the meeting is $15.00 if you register 24 hours in advance or $20.00 if you do not register which you can pay by credit card in advance through the website or by cash/check at the door.  Please note we are not set up at this time to accept cards at the door so this must be done by you in advance.  Lunch will be provided!
